Environmental Raditation Levels in Kyoto and Tokyo on July 30th, 2011

The environmental radiation levels in Kyoto and Tokyo have been stable. Kyoto has no influence from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant.

Kyoto 0.038 microsievert/hour (average background radiation level in Kyoto : 0.033 - 0.087 microsievert/hour). No health risk in Kyoto.

Tokyo0.061 microsievert/hour (average background radiation level is Tokyo: 0.028 - 0.079 microsievert/hour). No health risk in Tokyo.

You can compare with the natural background radiation level in your city or country with the radiation level in Kyoto and Tokyo. Then, you can decide whether you will visit Japan as you planned originally or not.
