Two Months Have Passed

Two months has passed since the earthquake and tsunami hit northeastern Japan. Please have a moment of silence for the victims today at 14:46 (Japanese standard time).

If your local churches and temples have bells, please ring them for the victims, as well. It is important to keep reminding us that many evacuees are still struggling.

But the survivors in the disaster areas have reopened their business and keep putting their effort on the reconstruction of their communities.

Also, Tokyo is back in normal and Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Sapporo, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, and other non-affected areas are running their lives and business to keep this country strong.

If you want to save Japan, visiting this country is another wonderful way.

You check the current conditions of Japan on the Japan National Tourist Organization's website and my blog. I periodically report the various information of Kyoto on this blog or website.
