New Year's Eve: Snow in Kyoto

It's snowing in Kyoto on this new year's eve. We might have good mount of snow on the ground on new year days (Jan. 1st - 3rd).

For tonight (new year's eve), I recommend you to go Chio-in Temple and Yasaka Shrine. There are a lot of activities around there.

Anyway, thank you for all visitors who come to Shunkoin Temple. I wish you will have a wonderful new year in 2011.

Happy new year!

Sincerely,
Rev. Taka Kawakami

  2. The families those adopt these dogs have my full respect. I was reading stories online regarding a family that adopted a pair of dogs, one was blind and the other was his buddy who used to guide him through the ways. The reason why the family adopted both of them was because of the bond these two dogs had with each other.
